[ i hope he's looking at this mirror like he's on a friday invest and cannot identify common objects. kate is as unreadable as always as we all push this off on gojo. ]
Yup! You'll have to come along with me to the kitchen so you can see the process. I'd say I need the leaves and some specific tools for the demonstration, but for a big tea connoisseur I'm going to assume you have almost everything.
[ YOU ARE ALL MAKING HIM DO TEA AND HE'S LIKE COOL... MY FAMILY ISN'T FROM KYOTO, BUT WE ARE AN ANCIENT CLAN. ]
The other three aren't needed, but Lucas can come if you think you need some assistance. [ Uncrosses his legs. ] By the way, I'm Gojo Satoru!
He is looking at this mirror like he is on a Friday invest, and he really needs a pair of Trial Eyes instead. Please! There is a brief glance of conflict between Kate and Gojo, as if he can't decide whether he wants to go with Gojo for the promise of tea, or whether he is skeptical enough to remain here for artifact chats.
"And you are?"
He again looks at the rest of you in turn for a second - Kate, Lucas, Nona. The way Gojo just handed out his wholeass real name.
[ I'm sorry for you all but he does think he's stranger danger rather than things would be a stranger danger to him (he'd get stabbed even if he didn't give out his full name is the baseline).
Hmmm. The apprehension sort of eases out of the elf as he slowly stands. But he does not move from where he is at yet.
"Yussa Errenis," he offers to you all in return.
This is, of course, the elf you had heard about on the ship, even if the gossipers didn't know what he looked like, hermit that he seems. Yussa Errenis, the one who lives in the strange tower in the middle of the Open Quay which he owns. A connoisseur of tea and magical artifacts.
"The only reason people see me without an appointment is to steal the Heirloom Sphere."
He does not wait. A single word in what you all think must be elvish springs quickly from his mouth. You can feel the edges of yourselves begin to vibrant as Yussa casts Scatter.
Now everyone must make a Wisdom saving throw by rolling a d20.
Well, unfortunately, Yussa is an extremely high-level wizard. All at once, every one of you are lifted bodily up from where you are and flung away. Nona and Gojo land several feet off to the side in a lump. Lucas is flung a little farther, crashing into the wall by the bottom of the stairs.
Kate, OUR KATE, goes flying a yard or two up the stairs themselves, crashing through the banister and landing, only to begin toppling down them to the bottom where she runs directly into Lucas. You all take force damage.
Yussa, during this time, has pulled a cantaloupe-sized golden sphere from somewhere. He doesn't hold it right between his fingers, but it floats instead, suspended within his hands. He begins to quickly manipulate the plates of the outside, turning them like a Rubik's Cube until grooves and lines, when connected, begin to glow. The sphere unlocks, and some of the plates pop open.

Gojo can manage as long as there's access to a kitchen.
[Just shoves it off on Gojo.]
Do let me know if you need any help, though.

I'm Nona. [nona also doesn't know stranger danger. have her real name.] You should really check out Gojo's tea demonstration!
[do not ask for a mirror demonstration.]

My name is Lucas; it's lovely to make your acquaintance. I do hope that you'll enjoy his method of preparation - I found it quite fascinating, myself.

And then, suddenly, all of you are transported to another dimensional plane.
