If anything, having everyone talk about it might be for the best. Even if you all do just continue with how it's been going, it's better to get that agreement out in the open now before it gets nasty later.

Well, yes, but beyond that... it's a tall ask to tell us they'll continue to kill and there's no way to prevent it, but for all of us agree not to do anything to stop them.
Well, I'm not telling you to agree to that. I'm just pointing out that you guys are not on the same page, and that it might be good to at least make sure everyone is aware that you're not on the same page.
