I know books and stuff like to paint them as, oh once you find the one, there are no problems ever! But it's pretty tricky stuff. Everyone has their own baggage, and now you have to navigate through two people's worth of it as delicately as possible.
That makes sense! For example, Imogen's mother was also slowly being corrupted by a dark force and she lost her to it over time, so she might be projecting some of that baggage onto the dark force I'm being corrupted by even though in my case it's fine!
No. I've had this little problem since long before I met her. Holding back, being timid and frightened of my power - it has only led to me failing to be able to protect those dear to me or to prevent catastrophe.

She sulks and goes quiet sometimes, if she's angry or I don't do as she says. It would be very like her to withhold her assistance when I'm in danger to prove a point.
