The three of us did some more digging after the trial completed. [ there was probably an hour-ish of time before her crow got answered ] Based on the information you all gathered, and the final investigating we did, we can guess that it was the cult at large that attacked Death. We're under higher scrutiny ourselves, so we'll have to learn how to act very evil for a while.
They shouldn't have been able to see that since the veil was up, but we'll see what the next week brings. It's not as if it'd bring any of us great joy to torture you all either.
