[When he returns, he has been fitted in the pieces, and, much to Astarion's reassurance, they do not look bad on him.

The darker colors blend seamlessly with his darker skin, and he looks taller for it. The line of his silhouette isn't cut awkwardly by color-blocking. Also, when he isn't hanging in a mass of billowing robes, he cuts a slim and lithe figure.

He fusses with fixing the little details, the sleeves, the vest, the waist, before it's a final piece.]
