I- I think I agree. I told him before he died that I understood he might not care to hear it, but that I'd like to get to know him better a-and be closer, and he... said that I was only going to get hurt.

He didn't have anything he liked to do in his free time besides training, and said he didn't have time regardless because he considered this a mission, so I don't think that he gets to live very normally.

Well. This isn't exactly the best place to experience normalcy, but I do hope that he was able to create some bonds, at least. Even if they're a bit fragile.
