No, just regular interdimensional travel itself. This cult is made up of people from all kinds of worlds-- kind of like how all of you are from different ones. That's what initially caught my attention, and then I discovered everything else as I kept digging.
Got it. [She could dig into the nitty gritty stuff, like okay but then how did you get here if you are unsure about interdimensional travel, how did you sign up if you weren't specifically selected — but there's a lot of ground to cover and Camille will hopefully have time to come back for more.
Unless this one dies on Thursday too.]
I do find it interesting how attached to a lot of, uh, "Earth" mythology this cult is. Your names — Death, Pestilence, etcetera, those all correlate with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the Christian bible. And beyond that, the assigned monsters, they tend to match up with common myths from Earth as well.
Are those associations coincidental? Were the names assigned to you, or did you choose them? How about our monsters, did you have any hand in choosing them for us?
Hmm, well I'm not from Earth, so I had to research a lot of this. Personally, I wouldn't think too much on it, since we know that the god itself isn't one related to Earth.
We didn't choose your monster affinities. Did you happen to hear my really good cooking analogy last Saturday? I can repeat it!
[ this isn't meant to be rude they sound really excited to repeat it actually ]
Well, we've explained a few times that a lot of the stuff happening here isn't the point. You're all really caught in how things like partners and monster affinities tie into the end goal of the cult, and we keep explaining it's a byproduct, but people weren't getting that.
Anyway, the simplest example is that it's like following a recipe you found, but not all of the ingredients to is is available, so you use alternative ones that still makes the meal, but it's slightly different enough that it's not the exact same.

[Whose side are you on, peers into your masked eyes.
Also fucking help she is not into science or theology, this conversation is going to be like sucking juice out of mummified lemon.]
That a god might cover multiple dimensions?

Watch though I'll click back in and Camille will have responded directly and I'm just too old to remember anything]
That would be wonderful, actually. I like a good analogy.

[Fine, all right. Dead end. Though before they move on she's got one more reach to make:]
You wouldn't have a clue who my soulmate is, then. Would you?
