I'd say we could tell them we're not here, but that'd just make it worse. And your side's still likely going to keep losing people. I'd hope they'd know to be careful, but...we could see everything that happened on Tuesday.

...Cloud mentioned that you guys were gonna try to appeal to the cult to slow down the rituals so they didn't lose more of us. Did that actually work?

Maybe. They did notice the drop in number, and we tried to point out how it might mess up the ritual, but it's hard to say if the lack of chimera this week was because that worked or not.

I'm going to hope that it did. The problem is that I don't know how long that'll last.

So it means there really is still a chance of another chimera rising up. [damn. she doesn't sound happy about it, but understandable.] I hope it worked, too, if only for your guys' sake. It's so hard on everyone when it's two.

Mmhm. I think a few people thought that when we said they'll kill again, that it would happen immediately, but Iwatooshi proved that wasn't the case since he wasn't trying to kill the night he died.

[ but they messed up the math so they did not realize iwatooshi proved otherwise. it's fine now everyone knows the math. ]

Yeah, it was easier for us to know what happened because Iwatooshi was with us, but...it felt like during that trial itself everyone felt like it was an easier answer to think it was him and moved away. [...] I know you probably can't say, but is she going to be okay? It's been a week now.

... she'll likely end up attacking someone. I know she is trying to set up precautions and traps against herself, though. She's a really smart kid.

She is. That's what worries me the most. [because yeah the monster sure is living behind her eyes and would probably know exactly how to disable everything.] And...it's too risky for her to tell anyone else to set traps against her she wouldn't know about, right? I'm sure you guys specifically can't intervene but it's kind of a scary thought.

I know the people she lives with are also into setting up traps, so a good idea would technically be for each of them to set something up that the others don't know about, instead of doing it as a whole group.

Especially if one of them becomes afflicted, yeah. Then you just have double the problems. [hrm...] Think it's too much like interfering if we try to tell them ourselves?

If our letters make it to them and if Kate survives, I'll give it a shot. It's the least we can do from this end while we're...hunting for rocks, I guess.

We've now moved on to the part where some of us are actually dying to collect rocks. Boothill came back the next day at least, but Ichiban's still missing an arm and the rest of us are in various states of healing. But Cloud, Iwatooshi and I found parts? So Nehan's got our inventory to start figuring out if we can use them.

Nehan said that it's possible the parts manifested because it was something we were thinking about since you guys were initially building the machine that blew up and created this dimension in the first place. Unless we have that part wrong? [pesto help her.]

I think...we were considering it as an option to at least figure out a way back, if not a way to get everyone out of here entirely.

I think it's a smart idea. In any case, it's best to have a few different ideas, since we don't know what might fail or backfire.

We're slowly learning stuff, and are able to get the others to do tasks to also find information, but there's only so much we can get each week.
