Since they're keeping some tabs on us should we be shouting at the sky pretending to be suffering and in the middle of sacrifice? I could get someone to fake a blood-curling shriek.
[She remembers Todomatsu apparently can scream when in anger. Perhaps she could needle him enough to scream bloody murder, she thinks to herself]
Not afraid some might do the whole 'better them than me' thing and not care others will be put in our place?
[Erin can go back and forth on that, really. At first she was all ready to hop onto the first vehicle she could find and drive away, and leave this place to rot. Now...
.......
Well, no, if she found a vehicle she'd strongly consider doing that...but hey, at least now it's a consideration instead of a certainty!]
Eh, at the end of the day I don't care that much. I spent years in Hell -- not known for having crowds of nice people. What's a month or two in a rickety theater with three somewhat unpleasant people?
[That and also changing with someone else to go to a nicer place is like giving up somehow. Like hell she'll let circumstances walk over her]
We did not hire them. It was a task assigned to them when they joined the cult. Unfortunately for the rest of you, if you are seen within those areas unnecessarily, then suspicion will be drawn to all of us.
[ she wasn't serious, but they needed to explain the gravity of the situation. ]
How did you four end up involved in a cult, anyway? None of you seem like the kinda zealots I have seen before. Less gung-ho about the apocalypse, more...mindful of human life. Plus the non-human population's lives. And one specific canine life.
We each have our own individual reasons. We joined on our own. As someone familiar with magical arts, I understand the components of ritual spells; however, I do not practice darker arts really.
So I did not agree with the bloodshed. I found some others who felt similarly.
Used to practice the unholy arts even before joining the cult?
[Oh, interesting! Erin hopes to see a glimpse of War the person, separate from everything about the cult and the tremendous blood sacrifices in Scawwy]

If you do, other people will simply be put into your place.

Not everyone can be heroes or good.

[ ALL THESE DO-GOODERS. ]
You are correct.

The people who ended up having to sleep here are jerks, though. Alfyn is pretty much the only one who is the classic kind guy.
[...well Erin sure is including herself among the jerks, apparently]
Were the groups done on purpose?

The magic of this place decided on its own. So maybe there is a reason all of you ended up together.

[She's not serious, but also wouldn't turn her nose if the answer was yes. She does have years of experience with hell horses, though]

I do not practice unholy arts. I'm not a warlock.
no subject
But at least she doesn't say that aloud because she's not a total mess socially, hah]
Oh, my bad. Hadn't really met a warlock before. No frame of reference there.

Some do not live to even say they have, for the record. Depending on the warlock.

[Erin tries to remember Dungeons and Dragons thing. She's pretty sure she was told some classes, so...hmmmmmm...]
A cleric?
