... yeah.

We didn't even know we could go into space, is the thing. The sky was shielded by something that made it impossible to get through. My boss was the first person to manage to get through that barrier... that we know of.

No idea... the problem is that most people had just accepted it as the way things are, and didn't want to research it any further.

The person I work for was the opposite. She was obsessed with breaking through it.
