Maybe so. But there is no such thing as useless knowledge. Opening your mind to other ways of thinking can help with problem-solving challenges you do have to face.
[ glances in the direction of the greater village ]
Well. I can at least say that it is simpler that none of you are dying everyday, even if once a week is still too quick of a rate.
Do you have reason to believe that all magic will immediately stop working in your home? That cannot be correct, given that a wish could still affect your circumstances.
Computers run on electricity and their own charge, but presumably will still function in a magical world without them to a degree. It will run out of power at some point without an outlet, and will not have full functionality without network to connect to. However, you can still bring it there as a tool.
Then take, for example, the wish that can activate once and have the similar function. It still will create the change you need. [ brings a hand up to their chin in thought ] The same could be said for other magical artifacts, that might still be useful even if they are not inherently compatible with the new environment.
So what I mean to say is: even if you will not have access to magic forever, it will open more doors than it closes to learn about your options based on other people's worlds. It is one of the few worthwhile things about being here.
[ a beat, then a mumble to themselves: ]That is the most I've spoken the entire time I've been here...
... That makes enough sense. But even if I used that kind of a wish, I don't think any extra magic or artifacts would just happen to fall into my world.

[ no. she's too stupid. ]
Maybe every day when it's a way bigger group you're looking at...

It sounded as though you needed additional help in your situation. Have you shared your circumstances with others?

[ mn. ] I've told bits and pieces to a few people.

Would you accept their help if they offered?

[ but planets and worlds is different. she thinks. who knows. ]
If they could help us that would be great. But I wouldn't want anyone getting dragged in if we weren't sure...

Well, my main point is to not close yourself off to the possibility. If you cannot solve something on your own, collaboration is not a poor idea.

... I'll think about it. There are already too many people involved because of me.

Yeah. I think.

It started with me, so it feels like it's my fault.
