They're useful. Will is the one on shopping duty, right? If he could purchase phones for everyone— or even just one per building group— that would make it a lot easier for everybody to keep in touch with each other. That's one thing we're really lacking right now: reliable means of communication.

I, and everybody on my side here, will be an auxiliary team of our own, and will rely on you, Famine, and Pestilence for communication.

I want them to have all of that and more. I know you guys are researching things and helping us as much as you can, but you have thirty plus people out there you can be putting to work. Each one has their own talents, and they're capable of more than they think. So even if nothing comes out of it, they're better off kept occupied than sitting on their asses waiting for the end.
