If any of us were asking for clothing, I think we had our issues sorted from last week. The selection was surprisingly good, although I didn’t see any dramatically appropriate cult masks in that clothing store.
... Something like that, yes. It's strange to be in such a huge city like Baldur's Gate and be a specific kind of anonymous. You can be anonymous in a big city easily, but someone will know. Recognise you.
[ ... ] When you're skulking the streets at night, it's a bit different. There's already an anonymity to that.
Famine, my dear, I didn’t really have a choice in the matter. Whether I’d rather or not had no bearing on anything.
[ … ] It was likely better for the situation I was in. But I quite like the feeling of people knowing you, when you walk into a tavern and the bartender recognises you. [ he’s not entirely sure he remembers it though, only what he thinks it might be like. ]

If I answered it then why are you calling me a dunce?
[ MEAN. ]
The principle is still there, though. There’s something about walking around at night that offers a certain sense of anonymity, regardless of what you do. Walking around in the sunlight instead has been… nice.
For now. Who knows if I'll be able to do this once we deal with these tadpoles. Might as well enjoy the feeling of the sun on my skin before it starts burning me again.
Yes, but if you're referring to the ears specifically, being an elf didn't stop me from going into the sun. [ the way i was like god he has like three unique physiology things going on, help me. ]
[ he just curls his lip back, so the fangs no one comments on despite them being right there and karlach calling him fangs in front of god and everyone i love everyone and their commitment to the ic/ooc divide very much, are on display. ]

And here I thought you picked all of yours out by yourselves or something. From the cult trader.

Oh? Not that I don’t agree, but what would those be?

[ no unmask from famine yet.... ]
It's wearisome for everyone to know exactly who you are purely by name. I didn't realize how refreshing it is to experience otherwise.

… Mm. A little anonymity is quite enjoyable. A lot… well, it can wear you down.

[ that is its own type of anonymity ]

Is that so... I suppose you've become something of an outdoorsy type then.

Then what did?

Vampirism, mostly.
