Adolphe's grip on his sword tightens, and he sidles in front of Aqua and Karlach on the ground protectively. He stands his own ground for a moment, but extremely hesitantly and uncertainly. Lucas doesn't scare him so much as worry him immensely.

He at least doesn't brandish the sword any higher aggressively.

"Just give her back," Adolphe tries carefully. "She can save everyone else."
