Seriously...?

[ HANDS ON HIS HIPS.... I GUESS.... ]

Karaoke is spelled [ He will write it on a piece of paper カラオケ, then later points to 空 for kara for "empty" and オーケストラ which is just said like orchestra, but japanese pronunciation. ] and it's an interactive entertainment system that you can find at clubs or bars, but nowadays there are establishments just for karaoke. We are not asking for a karaoke bar, but a setup which includes another TV and the Karaoke device, which includes a microphone and some stereos.

For those unfamiliar, the TV is the same display box you guys gave us for our Wii, the Karaoke device would be the machine that displays the videos and words to sing along, and the stereos... It's for better sound since it's a communal activity! People are there to sing along together and cheer each other on, buuuuut it's also cool for people to sing alone, too.

[ Uhh... Suguru dropped karaoke trivia on me before. Trying to remember. ]

The first prototype from the brand "Sparko Box" was created in Japan, Earth 1967, by Shingeichi Negishi, but it didn't stop people from inventing their own karaoke machine. I think the other one was made in Kobe by a nightclub musician? If we want to talk numbers, in 2007 there are over eight thousand facilities and that's only in Japan.

[ Quickly draws the SWOT analysis for this.......... The pros are their idol Robin can give them cute home concerts, people can distract themselves with something else that isn't just party games, music is good (that's literally a line).

The cons... He almost wrote noise, but crosses that out immediately and writes no cons with a smaller Karaoke machine.

Who's the target audience? Depressed sacrifices and goats who would like to have fun without suffering to stupid games. Doesn't write that instead they'll be forced to suffer singing and possibly embarrassment that way.
]

As you can see, people love to sing because for some people songs can convey a message that isn't easily communicated with just words! Maybe they suck at it, actually! Or it's just to lift spirits instead breaking any bonds, like the Wii would. It's also just super, super fun.

[ Is it obvious that Satoru also really likes karaoke. Points at them. ]

I want it in the cabin.
