week 2 sunday

[ i'm gonna assume she'll swing by the penthouse omo so here's your description

The penthouse, as one might expect of... a penthouse, is more spacious than the studios and built out with actual rooms. It's modestly furnished and nondescript to the point of emptiness: austere, wooden furniture and plain windows, impossibly fogged and streaked with water, even if the weather outside is clear; the sound of rain persists. Atop the desks are tidy lines of jars filled with looted supplies from the pharmacy, tools from the hospital, vials in a stand, and a stack of notes. It's neat, academic, and impersonal. There's also a small, whittled statue of a wolf to the far side.

The 'decor' is otherwise limited to flowers. Drying from the ceiling, dying in vases, dropping petals that decay and vanish before they strike the ground. Two lotuses set in a china bowl, one starting to wrinkle and wither. His Death mask is hung up, but beside it is another fashioned firmly on one of the walls, as though grafted in, swollen onto the wood like a tick to skin. Basically these are the vibes, except less cozy and more surreal, gritty and strange as any of the other rooms. There's some couches and a TV too, for convenience.

nehan is over by a small fireplace today, apparently making tea. ]

[ ...maybe she can see a little why aventurine wanted to oust him. it's a nice space, even if impersonal. she looks around with polite curiosity, though... she's a jrpg protag so there's a bit of inherent nosiness. (where are the treasure chests.) ]

SHE'S BROUGHT HIM A BOOK!!! she doesn't know he's from granblue fantasy full of fantastical sky islands and airships, she just assumes he isn't able to get out much, so it's a travel guide. mostly filled with very pretty pictures, and brief descriptions of far-off places. (think atlas obscura but like a fraction of the size.) ]

[ they can finally be at the greenhouse. nehan is pretty good at getting around despite his impediments, but he does have trouble collecting some of the higher-up plants in hanging pots and whatnot. he points at one. ]

[ IT'S EMOSHARE WEEK: everyone gets the same, steady baseline emotions of warm fondness and care, the feeling of being wrapped up in sunlight, or perhaps the brightness of the stars on a clear night.

anyway they can be at the mall, chilling in the new bar. aqua will hand nehan a cheap ass phone from radio shack. IF SOMEONE HAS ALREADY DONE THIS IT WILL BE SO FUNNY but here is your pager, mr. nehan house md. ]
