... We didn't start off as a large group?

Tifa's a friend of mine from childhood. Her group needed some extra muscle for something they wanted to do, so she convinced Barret to hire me for a gig. Things kind of... ballooned from there.

Ah... no, I get it. The group I'm with started out really small, and then things just... happen. [ gazes ] So, you met Aerith and Yuffie after?

Yeah. Aerith's been with us longer than Yuffie. I fell through the roof of her church into her flowers after my second gig got... complications. Then she got in trouble because of us, so we got her out of it. That's when Red joined up.

Then we ran into Yuffie a couple of times until she basically begged to come along.

[ cloud.... ] Oh, yeah. She usually comes by a few times in the week, especially since she's trying to learn how to take care of the garden.

So she's doing okay?

... I think she feels lonely, and she is trying to overcompensate by being helpful. She doesn't want to admit any of this though. [ of course she doesn't. ]

Probably not easier, but... more on your shoulders. In terms of getting people back home. [ you will want your new friends to get home safely, but there's a different feeling when you know everyone who would miss the people waiting. ]
