I think it's likely. They'd likely keep trying things until it turns out that they don't think it works, so just one attempt wouldn't really give them much data.

Honestly? They don't need all forty of you for it. The amount they brought is more of a safety net than anything. You don't only bring the exact amount of specimens you need for a project, because things can go wrong.

Probably less than half of that? The thing is, if you guys all die beforehand, they could just grab more. They just would prefer not to, because then that's another two months of wait time.

I think it would more likely be two new ones. With the chimera, it's because they actively summon two at the same time. The other one would still have theirs.

Yeah, I figured as much. [ it was his 0.1% of optimism.......... and now it is dead ] So there's at minimum going to be three again this week.

Mm, yeah. There's things living in the fog, but normally you guys wouldn't come across them. I tried warning people to be careful because of that, but I think the danger with everything else happening sort of overshadowed that.
