I think you'd absolutely hate the kinds of places I usually frequent.

But I'd take you to one of the quieter planets. Maybe somewhere like Vonwacq, known for its rainforests and abundant plant life.

Meanwhile, Aventurine's back at the accessories because he cannot stay away from shiny things. But at the mention of Izutsumi, he quickly looks up. ]

[ There is a little mote of sympathy there—she's obviously lonely. And they're both introverts so her presence doesn't tend to bother him. But at this point it's sort of Aventurine's space too. ]

...Since you stay over sometimes I thought I'd check. [ He is usually a bitch but he does know how to have manners. ]

[ It's the polite thing to do, but it still strikes Aventurine with slight wonder that they've gotten to the point of asking about other people staying over. They really have settled into a comfortable familiarity with each other. ]

[ He goes back to the sweaters and starts rummaging around, pausing at a burgundy piece this time. ]

She used to stay with me at the barn loft. It'll be like old times.

[ Unfortunately, the last week has only made it easier to fall into some strangely easy routine. He lets Aventurine stay over pretty much whenever he likes now—and now they're shopping. If not for the looming threat of death, it'd feel normal.

It does feel like they've been here forever. Rather than indulging in sentiment about it though, he is very obviously stifling some humor. ]
