What's it like?

They call it the Planet of Festivities, the Land of the Dreams. There are twelve different areas, called the Twelve Hours, that each provide visitors with some kind of entertainment or leisure activity.

It's a place I'd recommend for short visits right now.

Why just short ones?

It's going under a bit of reconstruction right now, but in general, it's better of vacations than anything else.

Is it where you reside permanently?

It's more a place I visit now... I left it years ago to tour the cosmos.

Something like that is really unbelievable to me. We didn't even think we could leave our planet until recently, since there was something blocking us from going out further.

I'm fortunate enough to have the resources that I do.

What was blocking your planet from traveling? Something like magic? Or something like another lifeform?

We don't quite know what it is yet, there really wasn't that much research put into looking into it. Very recently, my boss was actually able to break through it and go past it, but... we're likely never going to hear from her again. The ship she built won't last.

Your boss? What was your occupation?

I'm very sorry to hear that. Do you miss her?

Oh, I'm a scientist. I work for a research company.

I miss her as much as you'd miss anyone who was in your life and then suddenly gone.

What is it you're researching?

A few things, but the area I'm in charge of at my job is ecology, so it's what I work with the most. But I also do research a few other things, like biology and genetics...

Do you have a goal with your research? Is there something you're trying to achieve with it?

Hehe, I just want to make the world a safer place. If my research can help people live in a hostile environment, then everything annoying I've sat through is worth it.

Hehe, thank you. It'll probably be a never ending endeavor though. Once one problem is solved, another will always pop up behind it.
