We had planned for some violence initially before you caught us by surprise. We assumed most of you would clearly not take the situation well. Being brought here without consent, losing your things, your abilities, and having four cultist say they are trying to help.
Maybe being caught by surprise was helpful? [Everyone saw them looking like bozos first, which helped soften the cult blow later...] Being candid with your explanations may have done some good, too.
