W-we had crop fields like this at home, but I was never around them.

Neither was I. Though we didn't even have these sorts of fields really.

Imports, though much of it we don't care for really. We eat meat from the beasts and fungi.

We do not require much food often because of our biology.

[fungi don't sound all that appetizing... meat is difficult not to like, though.]

Your biology...? I-it's difficult to imagine not needing to eat very much, but it must be convenient... if I could read for longer without needing to stop to eat, I don't think I would mind.

Usually novels-! Sometimes poetry, as well, but I always thought that there was... something fascinating, about a story that could let you experience something you usually wouldn't. It's... like being somewhere else, for a little while.

Besides that, um... I've read a number of things in order to translate them from other languages.

Both. Um, it takes me longer if I don't remember working with the language before, though...
