Well, it was a big discussion, but in the end the argument to keep you all awake won out. Some thought it would be useful to see how you all react to the magic here. Others were worried if being unconscious for that long via magic would do some damage. Lots of reason.

There was a big rock that had a hand sticking out of it, and when I pulled the hand out, it was actually Gale? Would've been so easy to just ignore that. And Astarion tried getting a little cheeky by threatening me with a knife, too, I could've just ripped him to pieces, but... I didn't.
Coincidental, but sometimes I get the sense fate wanted something out of us.
