I think - I want to focus on tourniquets, first. I can practice those before Thursday, and in the meantime, I can study up on the proper application of stitches, so we don't end up wasting any precious medical supplies. And maybe - once I feel like I understand the actual act, maybe I can find something to practice with.

Do not practice too diligently with tourniquets, the entire point is to slow blood flow which uninjured people need. They can be made out of any combination of clean cloth, a tie, and a stick, which can be found without making an order from the Overseers. But if people keep losing limbs and appendages, it'd be useful so they don't bleed out pathetically before they make it to the swamp.

All things in life can be solved, however all processes can also be improved upon. I can save someone from a disease they were born with via a series of treatments over years, but if magic has a way to reduce that into weeks, it's worth doing research for.
But there's no tragic backstory to it, if that's what you're trying to get at.

I've gotten a few ideas, mostly from talking to the other Overseers rather than any of you. How practical they are in application remains to be seen, given the varying rules by which every world is bound.
