A tad worrying how much of a routine it's become.

It is unsettling that it's something to expect. I don't want to normalize it.

Mm, I don't think anyone does... but we kind of have. Everyone makes their Thursday plans, have Saturdays structured fairly well. It's like planning meetings.

They're all meetings people would like to reschedule.

[rhine]

Right, right, exactly that! And then they give you a free lunch to try to compensate, but it doesn't really make up for the fact you had to be there.

Oh, the fabled pizza party I've heard about....

And then they didn't even order enough pizza for everyone to have more than slice.

This is actually giving me work and school flashbacks.

I didn't think it'd be so true to life... What kind of compensation do you get here?

Haha, well, if the ritual ended up successful, we would have gotten a wish. But like... one that isn't limited, like the ones you guys can get from killing or partnering.

But I guess since we're messing it up, we'd likely get nothing.

I appreciate what you're willing to give up.

[ it's basic decency to not want to sacrifice 40 odd people, but still, robin genuinely appreciates it. ]
