[this is where i admit that every time i have to write anything involving bruising i really have to guess and pray because bruises last for 500 years on me and i don't think that's normal

Lucas would normally not lean back, but he can get affection week'd like a bozo. He still looks faintly uncomfortable and displeased, though, like when you take a cat to a vet but it's too old and tired to kick up a huge fuss and just sits there like a sweaty loaf.]

It is, but you're surrounded by leech water and disgusting surroundings. I would take whatever help with the healing you can get.

he gets a little bandage placed over the top later, carefully arranged so it doesn't peek through his bangs. the touch is gentle and quick, ending the vet visit for this grumpy cat shortly ]
