You are useful. As a guardian, as a protector, as a contributor who will pursue answers even if you are not regaled as a genius or a scholar. You do not need to be those things to still be helpful.

It's not to say that your knack for saying the right thing is inconsequential.

But your worth is not limited to how you make others feel.
